The Message in the Mess
Life isn't always neat.
Neither is growth.
Some of the greatest lessons I've learned didn't come wrapped in comfort or convenience. They came disguised as interruptions, disappointments, and seasons I would never have chosen for myself.
I've also learned that people often judge by appearances.
One person sees clutter.
Another sees memories.
One sees broken pieces.
Another sees restoration.
One sees a mess.
God sees a message.
Before you rush to throw something away—whether it's a relationship, a dream, a season, or even a mistake—pause long enough to ask what it has come to teach you.
Sometimes the greatest treasure isn't found after the mess is gone.
Sometimes it's found because of it.
Reflection Questions
- What have I been too quick to label as a mess?
- What lesson might God be inviting me to discover before I move on?
- How can I allow today's challenges to become tomorrow's wisdom?
